Now in its seventh award year, the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2015 is the only worldwide event dedicated to recognising the excellence in design and innovation for every imaginable food and beverage space.

Williams Refrigeration’s parent company, the Ali Group was delighted to partner this year’s event, held at the Old Truman Brewery, and themed around “A Story - Building Emotions’’.  The venue was transformed into a spectacular event space for this foremost hospitality design awards function.

With over 850 nominations from 70 countries, the event attracts the world’s leading designers and hospitality operators.  Shortlisted award nominees included ships, airports and museums, Michelin star restaurants, celebrity bars as well as the very latest in pop up restaurants from around the world.

The 2015 judging panel comprised some of the most influential personalities in international design, hospitality and lifestyle, and included renowned chefs Jason Atherton and Marcus Wareing who were set the difficult task of picking the very best designs from some 36 UK and International categories.

Williams Refrigeration, working closely with the international food service design consultancy, Humble Arnold Associates, provided the event catering coldrooms and foodservice refrigeration.

Over 650 guests attended the ceremony, with the evening’s menu wonderfully prepared and presented by Ibérica, Beef & Pudding, tincan and George's Fish & Chip Shop. The overall winner of the 2015 restaurant design award was presented to The Jane (Antwerp Belgium) with London’s Dandelyan at The Mondrian winning the best bar design.

Ali Group is also delighted to announce its participation as sponsor of the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards companion event - a 'Restaurant and Bar Design Talk' to be held at the Mint leaf of London, Dubai on 29th October.
