The Role:
Are you looking for a career in engineering and a chance to work within an expert and hardworking engineering team, with excellent industry reputation to deliver the very best refrigeration solutions for customers?In this role, you will generate AutoCAD drawings and NC programs for our sheet metal processing machines. To complete the drawings accurately, you must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams. You will also be required to create and maintain the associated Bills of Materials. This is essential for producing precise designs for our manufacturing teams.
You will receive extensive on the job training, gaining practical experience and developing the necessary skills to excel in the steel and refrigeration engineering fields. You will work closely with experienced engineering and manufacturing staff on a variety of projects, processes and machinery to become a multi-skilled member of the engineering team.
The Person:
You should have solid maths, physics and chemistry qualifications as well as a good understanding of ICT applications. You must be hardworking, committed, and work with an attention to detail.Knowledge and experience of a manufacturing environment and sheet metal fabrication including metal punching and folding would be an advantage.
Familiarity with 2D CAD and 3D Solid Works CAD and CAE work.
Basic competency in ICT applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows OS.

Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:30
Friday 07:30 – 12:40
Training
You will receive an in-depth induction and health & safety training as well as CAD / CAM and engineering training in support of the role.
Holidays
22 days + bank holidays, increasing with length of service
Pay
£23,809 -£27,000 per annum

Production Team Leader

We’re hiring a Production Team Leader to join our manufacturing site in King’s Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in production or manufacturing who’s ready to take the next step in leadership.
As a Production Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day operations on the shop floor. You’ll support your team to hit production targets, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support production staff to meet daily targets
- Plan and prepare production activities in advance
- Maintain product quality and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Requisition materials and manage workflow efficiently
- Communicate with supervisors and attend regular team briefings
- Support new product development alongside Engineering and Design teams
- Take part in stock checks and report maintenance or breakdown issues
- Promote a clean, safe and efficient work environment
- Assist in training team members and identifying development needs
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support lean practices
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production industry (preferable)
- 1+ year in a team leader or supervisory role
- Good understanding of production planning, workflow and team co-ordination
- Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, Kanban, Cells, JIT, etc.)
- Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001 or ISO45001 is a plus
- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant field (e.g. Refrigeration, PMO, Engineering, BIT, Warehousing) preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
- IOSH Working safely cert / CIEH H & S cert
