Here at Williams we offer many different products suited to the variety of takeaways available, from space-saving cabinets and counters to efficient front-of-house units.
The nature of takeaway kitchens means space tends to be limited. At this year’s Takeaway Innovation Expo we will highlight our space-saving range of commercial refrigeration, every bit as efficient and durable as its standard Kitchen Range, but with the more compact designs needed in many takeaway outlets.
Takeaway food is often prepared quickly and in front of the customer. The Williams’ Thermowell TW4 refrigerated prep well helps staff access the key ingredients needed during preparation swiftly and safely. The TW4 can hold two 1/3 or four 1/6 Gastronorm containers. The refrigerated wells are angled so that chefs have easy access and sight of the ingredients. The TW4 can work effectively in ambient temperatures as high as 32°C and, as well as being compact, its installation is flexible. Depending on what suits the kitchen, it can be wall mounted, sited on worktops or put on extendable legs.
Our popular Gem Multideck Range is ideal for front-of-house, its stylish and slimline design creates aesthetically pleasing food and drink display that makes the most of limited retail space. Designed for grab and go, it’s a popular choice for takeaway outlets, and comes with the option of an impulse snack basket, a useful accessory to maximise the food offering from the one unit.
Another space-saving product on the Williams’ stand is the Amber A400 upright cabinet. Its slim design makes it the perfect fit for small takeaway kitchens. With a capacity of 406 litres, it can also operate in temperatures of up to 32°C. The Amber A400 is ideal for budget conscious customers.
Another Amber product on display will be the A135 undercounter cabinet. Offering a storage capacity of 133 litres, it delivers big on performance in even the smallest commercial kitchen.
The Williams’ Under Broiler Counter UBC5 is a space-saving, low-level refrigerated drawer counter, designed specifically to have chargrills and griddles positioned on top – so the cooking appliance sits on the refrigeration, keeping everything to hand for the chef. Falcon Foodservice Equipment, our sister company, will display a selection of cooking appliances suited to the takeaway market, including countertop ovens and fryers.
