In October 2023, Williams was delighted to attend HOST Milan, the largest international catering equipment event in Europe. This five-day exhibition showcased the latest innovations and trends in the catering industry.

The location of HOST Milan held significance for us, as it is where our parent company, Ali Group Srl, is headquartered. This allowed for a unique opportunity to network with other Ali Group businesses.

On our stand we proudly showcased our new efficient blast chiller range, along with the latest advancements to our equipment, highlighting our dedication to innovation. In addition, we also displayed two front-of-house products: an elegant jewellery box display case and a dramatic meat ageing refrigerator, which adds a touch of theatre to dining.

We were delighted to be joined by Ringo Wong (Managing Director at China) and Peter Hutchings (Managing Director at Australia) in Milan. They joined us on our stand, helping to showcase our front of house range whilst forming connections with international customers.

Our sister company, Falcon Foodservice Equipment also joined us on stand. This collaboration demonstrated the versatility of our refrigeration, showing how kitchen equipment can seamlessly work together to streamline a kitchen's operations. For example, a griddle can be conveniently placed on top of our Chefs Drawer, providing easy access to fresh ingredients.

Williams and Falcon also partnered together to sponsor six young aspiring talents in our industry. These emerging professionals had the unique opportunity to experience a major international exhibition, learning not only about Williams and their products but also about other Ali Group business's appliances, expanding their knowledge and skills in the field. We received great feedback:

“I had a fantastic time in Milan. Garry, Andy and the wider Ali group hosts were great and made the trip thoroughly enjoyable. It was good to meet other industry peers too and understand their experiences of our industry which is something we rarely get to hear.” Charlotte Knight, Catering Projects Ltd.

“The trip was very well organised and the training received was very beneficial.” Phil King, Airedale Catering Equipment.

We had fantastic feedback from our customers and dealers who visited the stand, and we look forward to returning to Host in October, 2025.
