Williams listed on CIBSE ECV Register

CIBSE certification confirms our position as a trusted refrigeration provider.

We’re proud to announce our certified embodied carbon figures are now listed on the new CIBSE Embodied Carbon Verification (ECV) Register – the trusted source for verified TM65 embodied carbon calculations.

The ECV register is expected to become the go-to platform for professionals seeking reliable data for carbon reporting and calculations.

We were among the first foodservice equipment manufacturers to have calculations produced using the CIBSE TM65 mid-level method, verified by CIBSE and made available within Revit symbols in Specifi. This milestone reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability and sustainability.

The results show our embodied carbon figures to be among the lowest in the industry, highlighting our position as a leader in sustainable refrigeration.

“Talking to our business partners and end-user customers, we realised early on that embodied carbon figures are set to become a ‘must-have’ for foodservice equipment suppliers,” says Malcolm Harling, sales and marketing director at Williams Refrigeration.

“Having our data included in the CIBSE ECV Register gives consultants and designers instant access to reliable embodied carbon information for our products. It’s another important step in helping the industry make informed, sustainable choices and work collectively towards net zero."

Our certified products include a range of core products including Jade counters and cabinets, blast chillers, Chef’s Drawers, bottle coolers, Onyx prep stations, UBCs (Under Broiler Counters) and undercounter Amber and Aztra cabinets, with more product families to follow.

Embodied carbon data for these models can be accessed directly through the CIBSE ECV Register, Specifi, or direct from Williams.
