The great Williams bake off

Staff at Williams Refrigeration cooked up a storm with their very own Bake-Off on 10th December raising more than £200 for the newly-registered King’s Lynn charity, Reach for a Star.

Staff at Williams Refrigeration cooked up a storm recently with their very own Bake-Off raising more than £200 for the newly-registered King’s Lynn charity, Reach for a Star.

The event saw great support from staff with over 30 of them baking an abundance of cakes. Funds were raised by raffling the cakes as well as from a ‘Guess the weight of the cake’ competition. Prizes included copies of ‘How to Bake’, signed by Paul Hollywood.

Reach for a Star is committed to helping children and their families fight life-threatening conditions with dignity, comfort and support. The charity is close to the hearts of the Williams Refrigeration team, as co-founder Claire Moore works for the company. Claire and husband Stuart co-founded Reach for a Star after their daughter Olivia, six, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour, called a pilocytic astrocytoma.

Further signed copies of Paul Hollywood’s book are to be auctioned to raise more funds for ‘Reach for a Star’. To make a bid please call Sam Butters at Williams on 01553817000. Closing date is January 18th.
