Williams' new Jade Wide Counters and Fish Cabinets

Williams has recently added new products to its Jade range with the introduction of Jade Wide Counters and a specialist Fish Cabinet.

Jade Wide Counters provide increased storage capacity

The new Jade Wide Counters offer significantly increased storage capacity, with 2/1 GN pan compatibility and availability in 2 and 3 door models.

Designed for high-demand kitchens, they provide substantially more storage than standard Jade counters. For example, the JWC2 model offers a total capacity of 611 litres compared to 317 litres in a standard two door Jade counter. Each section can hold two 2/1 GN trays, allowing larger quantities of ingredients to be stored directly within the preparation area to support kitchen workflow.

Alongside standard refrigerator and freezer options, a dedicated meat storage model is available, operating at an optimum temperature range of -2/+2°C.

Temperature is controlled by Williams’ CoolSmart controller, which uses intelligent technology to maintain precise conditions while reducing energy consumption by operating only when required.

Further energy efficiency is achieved by self-closing, barrel locked doors with magnetic balloon gaskets, high density insulation and R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.

A comprehensive range of customisation options is available, including reverse units and splashbacks. Refrigerator models can additionally be customised with ergonomically angled raised pan holders or cut out wells for enhanced ingredient storage and preparation.

The Jade Wide Counters are also compatible with third party connectivity systems for remote monitoring.

Jade Fish Cabinet designed for specialist fish storage

Alongside the Jade Wide Counters, Williams has introduced the Jade J1 Fish Cabinet, designed specifically for the safe storage of fish.

Correct temperature control is essential for maintaining fish quality. Fish proteins are delicate, and incorrect storage can affect texture, taste and safety. If temperatures rise too high, fish can also release ammonia, which may impact both product quality and equipment performance.

The cabinet operates at an optimum temperature range of -2 to +2°C and is constructed from food safe, ammonia resistant stainless steel inside and out.

Each cabinet includes sixteen fixed tray slides (eight per side) and is supplied with eight 2x1 GN 100mm pans with slime trays, helping prevent fish from sitting in residual liquids. A base mounted waste drain allows connection to the main drainage system for improved hygiene management.

Temperature control is managed by Williams’ CoolSmart controller, which uses accurate sensors to maintain consistent performance. Defrost water is evaporated using waste heat from the condenser, helping to reduce energy consumption.

For hygiene, the cabinet includes radiused internal corners and a removable racking system to simplify cleaning. Heavy duty castors allow easy movement for washdown and maintenance.

The self-closing, barrel locked door features magnetic balloon gaskets for a secure seal, supported by 80mm high density precision injected polyurethane insulation for temperature stability.
